Each fall, the skies, forests, and shorelines around Lake Washington come alive with movement as birds make their incredible journeys along the Pacific Flyway. Together, we'll slow down, listen, and learn about the patterns and pathways that connect species and all of us across great distances.
This walk will be led by Nick Dujnic, a seasoned birder with years of experience observing and sharing the wonder of birds in the Pacific Northwest. Nick will help guide our eyes and ears to the subtle signs of migration, whether it's a flock overhead, a rustle in the trees, or the shift of the season itself.
Join us for a guided nature walk for all levels of nature enthusiasts. We'll move at a relaxed pace, pausing often to observe and reflect. Expect opportunities to learn about bird behavior, habitat connections, and ways we can care for migrating species and the ecosystems that sustain them.
