Whether you’ve traveled the world with binoculars or simply paused to think, “Hey, that’s a cool bird!”—congratulations, you’re already a birder! Now’s your chance to build the skills to confidently identify and find the birds you love, from flashy migrants to the feathered friends right outside your window.
Join instructor Nick Dujnic on December 13th, 10AM–12PM in the Eagle’s Nest at the Seward Park Audubon Center for a welcoming, hands-on introduction to birding. We’ll spend the first hour in the “classroom” learning core skills like field marks, bird families, behavior clues, and listening basics. Then we’ll head outside for an hour of real-world birding to put your new knowledge into practice.
Everyone is welcome—bring your curiosity, your questions, and your sense of wonder. Let’s go find some birds together!
Registration opens on Thursday, February 5 @ 2PM.
