Ashwini will be providing instruction on drawing birds at a free workshop, for adults and youth.
Discover the beauty of the avian world through the art of drawing at the Bird Drawing Workshop with Ashwini Sadekar. During this workshop, Ashwini will deliver an immersive experience where you'll learn how to capture the lifelike essence of birds using pencil drawing and blending techniques.
Using taxidermy models of birds as our subjects you'll study intricate details up close. Whether you're a seasoned artist or just starting your artistic journey, this workshop is tailored for all ages and experience levels. No prior drawing experience is necessary—just bring your enthusiasm and curiosity!
Ashwini, our accomplished instructor, brings a fascinating background to the workshop. Originally an engineer from India, she followed her passion for art to the Pacific Northwest and found her true calling as a gifted artist. Her expertise and multicultural perspective infuse a vibrant energy into each session, creating an inspiring and supportive atmosphere for all participants.
All materials will be provided as she employs specimens from the Center's taxidermy as models.
