Diana Vinh | Images Across the Bow

A spectacular lens on mornings upon Lake Washington

Seward Park Audubon Center is excited to host a new exhibit, featuring the photography of Diana Vinh. For Diana, dawn on Lake Washington never disappoints. For the last five years, she has rolled her kayak down to Wetmore Slough and paddled through mist, rain, and water lilies to Andrews Bay.  The interplay of weather, light, and water made every outing unique, then after a glorious paddle, she would feel Teflon-coated and ready to take on the day.
The early rhythm of Diana's life was set by her photographer father; catching the golden hour, waiting for the perfect shadow to fall and the excitement around getting a really good shot. Many years later she is still at it and still in awe of the beauty that surrounds us.
This photo show takes you along on Diana's morning paddles.

Diana's brilliant photography will be on display in the Seward Park Audubon Center's Garry Oak throughout February and March. We will celebrate the opening of this exhibit, with Diana, Sunday, February 5, 1:00 - 300 PM. We'll have warm cookies and punch, during this social to meet and chat with our artist.
