For eight years, the Seward Park Audubon Center has provided high school students with conservation opportunities and support to meaningfully impact their local communities. They have taken action to advocate for stronger environmental protections, from participating in environmental restoration to meeting the governor in Olympia to discuss policy priorities.
Now, a new generation of young people is poised to take up the task of advancing environmental justice, protecting key ecosystems, and combating climate change. Through legislation, remediation actions, and developing educational outreach events,
they are forging pathways to a cleaner, greener future for people and birds alike.
We welcome you to discover more about this exciting new program and follow as our cohort of teens develops and learns. You can also learn about the Luminaries who help guide the next generation of conservation leaders.
