Nature is the world's best teacher, and experiences in outdoor spaces, like Seward Park, not only serves as nature's classroom, it connects students with the beauty and wonder of the natural world. It is my great pleasure to welcome your group to a place with tall cedars, regal ferns, 9 miles of trails, and 2 miles of shoreline. It is here where relationships between children and nature are forged, and with that, an understanding of the role they can play as our next generation of conservation leaders.
Thank you for submitting your field trip request. I will review your request promptly, and then provide you with details to ensure our staff and volunteers are prepared for your visit to Seward Park. Below, you will find an information sheet with guidance on field trip preparation, and photo and liability waivers in several languages. Completed waivers are required for each student attending our programs.
I am looking forward to welcoming children to our beautiful park...see you soon!
