People are hearing a lot about carbon these days, but for the average person carbon itself is still an abstraction even though it’s all around us, in our forests, waters, soil, and air, even in our own bodies.  Come hear artist Rachel Lodge talk about using science-based imagery and animation to bring carbon dioxide, photosynthesis, and other wonders of the carbon cycle to life.

Science, Nature and a Biscuit invites researchers, artists, writers, and newsmakers to discuss issues at the intersection of science and nature. In addition to thought-provoking naturalist presentations, we will provide food for the body in the form of hot biscuits with butter and jam! What could be better?
