Seattle’s Woodland Park Zoo is preparing for the 2024 City Nature Challenge! This a region-wide bio-blitz to share the diversity of wild plants and animals that exist in King, Pierce, and Snohomish counties. Observers can share findings via the iNaturalist app beginning Friday, April 26 through Monday, April 29. And for those who have knowledge to spare, Tuesday, April 30 through Saturday, May 4 can help accurately identify the many species that have been submitted. 

Here in Seward Park, Audubon will open our door to help the experts and casual observers get started making observations. Our staff and volunteers with be ready with technical support, suggested routes for unique observations, and games and activities to get the natualist juices flowing.
