Welcome to Week One of the 2023 Washington State Legislative Session!

It will be an action-packed legislative session and we have an important action for you to take right off the bat. We need to make a big splash when a key climate bill gets its first hearing on Tuesday morning in Olympia.

Yes, I’ll ask my rep to support HB 1181, legislation that requires climate change to be a part of growth management planning! 

This climate bill is just one of a number of key bird issues before the legislature in 2023. We’re tracking a number of different bills and budget items, which you can check out by using our bill tracking page. We’ll also include other opportunities for you to take action on this page.
