You can help expand our knowledge of Seattle's bat population. Seward Park Audubon Center, Woodland Park Zoo, Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife, and Bats Northwest are joining forces to provide evening opportunities for you to get involved in community science in our Bat Activity Trends (BAT) program.
Our BAT program leaders will provide an understanding of the program's purpose and goals, then provide a brief training on how to conduct the bat count. At the end of the program, the BAT program leader will collect the data to be shared with our program partners.
To register, start by selecting a date that you can join us in Seward Park. The link will take you to our sign-up page.
Thank you for helping to grow our knowledge of these special creatures.

How you can help, right now
Get Involved
We rely on the talents of our volunteers to promote the efforts of the Center. Whether you're a budding naturalist or an organized decision-maker, we need you!
Get Native
Incorporating native plants into your yard or balcony garden provides important habitat for birds and promotes biodiversity.
