Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service

Monday, January 19: 10am - 2pm

FREE - All Ages

Dr. King showed us the connection between the health of our environment and the health of our communities. Honor his legacy on this day of celebration, growth and renewal.  We'll remove invasive plants as part of an ongoing effort to restore a healthy habitat for birds and humans. We'll provide tools, gloves, training and coffee-- you bring the hard work and laughs! Register here

Earth Day Service Project

Wednesday, April 22: 10am-2pm

FREE - All Ages

Come and celebrate Earth Day at Seward Park by joining us in protecting native habitat. Swing tools, dig holes, plant trees and create a healthier planet. Tools, gloves, training, snacks and coffee provided--Just bring your energy, laughter and family and friends. 

Seward Park Day of Service

Whose parks? OUR parks! Celebrate our Tenacious Roots participants as they graduate on Seward Park Day of Service and share their experiences as restoration crew leaders. Build great habitat for birds and humans alike by joining our ongoing project to restore health to one of the oldest forests in Seattle! Tools, gloves, training, snacks and coffee provided. Bring the whole family!
