Build great habitat for birds and humans by restoring health to one of the oldest forests in Seattle. Bring the whole family! This is a great opportunity to meet your neighbors, help leave a healthy legacy for wildlife and strengthen your own community roots. The day will begin with a brief training and discussion of habitat restoration followed by invasive plant removal, and concluded by polishing up our tools to prepare them for a good season of hard work. Tools, gloves, snacks and coffee provided. 4 service hour credits for high school students. Gold star and smiles for adults. Register here
