Tenacious Roots: Youth Leadership for Conservation Action
Earn service learning hours while gaining leadership skills to begin taking conservation action! You will learn to manage volunteers and address local impacts of climate change through political advocacy, community organizing and restoring the forest of Seward Park.
Our fall program will focus on climate change. Tenacious Roots teen participants will get to understand what climate change is, attend a climate action summit, learn about and promote climate-positive ballot measures and help restore a section of forest within Seward Park.

How you can help, right now
Get Involved
We rely on the talents of our volunteers to promote the efforts of the Center. Whether you're a budding naturalist or an organized decision-maker, we need you!
Get Native
Incorporating native plants into your yard or balcony garden provides important habitat for birds and promotes biodiversity.
