Community Roots Restoration Work Party

Ages 6 and up

We are keeping Seward Park's forest healthy! We've removed invasive plant species and are now planting native plants! Join us for a fun morning of planting. Dress for the weather! Boots are great, but any closed toe shoes will work as long as you're OK with getting them dirty. We'll provide the tools and the work gloves. Bring your water bottle! We'll provide a few light snacks and coffee. We'll rendezvous near picnic shelter #3 in Seattle's Seward Park. Look for signs that will lead you to the work area. The best place to park is the lot near Picnic Shelter 3. You can also park in the lower lot near Andrew's Beach.
