Bridget Beth Collins "paints" with petals collected from sidewalks in her neighborhood, flowers in her garden, and foraged from the forest. What began as a fun pastime with her children, has grown into a thriving business: Flora Forager.
In this Audubon exhibition, Bridget has created birds with flowers, hoping to inspire those who view them to take a closer look at the feathered friends around us in need of conservation and care.
The gallery opening party will also celebrate the release of Bridget’s new book, The Art of Flora Forager, which showcases the best of her floral compositions and gives a behind-the-scenes look at her artist’s process. Light appetizers, beer and wine will be served.
