Come for Education and Stay for Restoration!

Want to add the additional benefit of a service learning element to your park and program visit? Come for an education program such as Eco Explorations or a Custom Walk and stay for 1-2 hours of restoration work in the park. There are no additional fees to volunteer for restoration and groups participating in both education and restoration get an additional 5% discount from their program fees.

Custom Walks & Programs

Seward Park Audubon Center offers special naturalist led interactive walks for youth groups during the school day. Walk themes are based on seasonal availability and include such topics as botany, bald eagles, natural history, and forest ecology. Walks are limited to 25 students and cost $3 per student per hour. For more information and to discuss walk options, please call our program coordinator at 206-652-2444 x105.

Homeschool Groups

All regular school programs are also available to homeschool groups during the school day. So gather a group of your homeschool friends and give us a call for more information!

Students ages 11-18 are welcome to join other regional homeschoolers for a day filled with our Eco Explorations and Outside In lessons. Field days are limited to the first 90 registrants. Please contact us for specific dates and times.
